Kips Bay Show House 2025 Highlights

Celebrating its 8th year in West Palm Beach, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House displayed a variety of breathtaking rooms created by luxury interior designers from Florida and across the US.

The renowned event began 50 years ago to raise funds for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club based in New York City. Since then, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has expanded to West Palm Beach and Dallas.  This year’s show house featured a range of trends, from bright hues to understated coastal patterns and sophisticated earth tones - with floral arrangements adding a layer of elegance to many of the rooms.

Below, we’ve highlighted the work of Marshall Watson & Reid Deane Ganes Interiors, Shakoor Interiors, and Louise W. Kronan from this year’s show house.

Marshall Watson & Reid Deane Ganes Interiors

Based in New York City, Marshall Watson & Reid Deane Ganes Interiors provide expertise in designing elevated, traditional spaces. A key player in their interiors is the emphasis of natural light, which can be found in their Kips Bay room.

Blending elements of art deco and textured patterns, the room created a sense of openness while still maintaining a warm ambiance. The bold wallpaper blended seamlessly with the featured print above the sofa, creating a familiar, vintage feel for attendants.

A pleasing final touch was the consistency between both the decorative pelmet and table lamps, which added an element of structure throughout the room.

Shakoor Interiors

Shakoor Interiors features eclectic, modern designs with contrasting hues. Often blending statement pieces with sleek surfaces, the Chicago-based design firm effortlessly creates a sense of understated opulence.

The Kips Bay room is a perfect example of this. Shakoor Interiors’ bathroom pulled off multiple patterns without coming off as excessive, which is no small feat. The tiled accent wall meshed well with the white veins of the black marble sink, while the brass faucet added a subtle metallic “pop” to the space.

Louise W. Kronan

This West Palm Beach interior designer combines rustic themes with a vibrant, tropical flair. Kronan’s work often features pastel shades coupled with brightly patterned fabrics and exposed wood beams, expertly blending them to create a signature look.

At this year’s show house, Kronan’s entryway offered a taste of whimsy for anyone who stepped inside the space. It featured exotic accents (as seen with the cockatoo perched on the door’s ledge) while allowing the more traditional designs, such as the arched doorway, to shine through.
