Before & After Kitchen in Palm Beach Gardens

Welcome to our latest project showcase! We had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Lotzco Builders and Kim from Highpoint Interiors on a stunning kitchen transformation in Palm Beach Gardens. The journey from a traditional, darker kitchen to a modern, bright, and airy space is truly remarkable. Let's dive into the details of this beautiful makeover.

Before: Traditional and Warm

The original kitchen, featured rich wooden cabinetry, dark countertops, and a cozy, traditional aesthetic. While the layout was functional, the space felt enclosed and a bit dated. The darker tones, while warm, absorbed a lot of light, making the kitchen feel smaller and less inviting.

After: Modern and Bright

You can see the dramatic transformation. The new kitchen is a breath of fresh air with its lighter palette and modern design. The changes have not only updated the look but also enhanced the functionality and openness of the space.

Materials and Sources for the Kitchen Transformation

Careful selection of materials played a crucial role in achieving the modern and cohesive look we envisioned. The cabinet doors were sourced from Kith Kitchens, known for their high-quality and customizable cabinetry. We selected the Homestead Overlay style for its clean lines and timeless appeal. The Natural Maple Vintage finish adds a touch of warmth and elegance, perfectly complementing the overall aesthetic. For the wall cabinets and hood, we opted for an Alabaster finish. This soft, off-white color enhances the light and airy feel of the kitchen, creating a beautiful contrast with the Natural Maple Vintage base cabinets and island.

The base cabinets, island, and shelves all feature the same Natural Maple Vintage finish as the cabinet doors. This consistency in material and color creates a harmonious look throughout the kitchen. The light wood tones add warmth and texture, making the space feel inviting and well-balanced.

The combination of Alabaster wall cabinets, Natural Maple Vintage base cabinets, and flat black hardware creates a sophisticated yet welcoming kitchen. The materials were selected not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their durability and quality, ensuring that the kitchen will look beautiful and function efficiently for years to come.

Design Highlights

Island Upgrade: The island not only provides additional prep space but also serves as a casual dining area, complete with stylish bar stools.

Updated Appliances: State-of-the-art stainless steel appliances enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of the kitchen.

Lighting: Pendant lights over the island and ample natural light from the windows brighten the entire space.

Backsplash and Open Shelving: The subway tile backsplash and open shelving add both texture and practicality, allowing for decorative displays and easy access to essentials.

Coffee Station Corner

One of the standout features of this kitchen transformation is the dedicated coffee station corner, as shown in the image below. This cozy nook is designed for convenience and style, featuring:

  • Open Shelving: Perfect for displaying decorative items and easy access to coffee essentials.

  • Built-in Microwave: Frees up counter space while providing modern functionality.

  • Mini Fridge: Ideal for storing beverages and keeping everything you need for your coffee station within reach.

  • Sleek Design: The combination of white cabinetry, light wood drawers, and black hardware ties this corner seamlessly into the overall kitchen design.
